IA Part II

1. My learning can serve the community because with the knowledge I learn I can help build a invention that can possibly change the community. I can help communities grow stronger by improving their surrondings. I can invent medicine that can improve life expectancy in communities.

2. They can become better by learning how to use the design cycle because using the design cycle helps breaks now projects step by step. The design cycle has 4 sections to it: Investigate, plan, evaluate, and create. Each one is a step that will improve your project tremendously by helping identify problems and evaulate the product and solution.

3. I have learn that I procrastinate on many of my work but in the end I will end up doing it. I will continue to do my work the way I view it is right because I've been passing my classes that way. I will try not to procrastinate anymore because it leaves me doing all this work in the end.

4. I think my video was pretty good because I put a lot of work into it and it turned out well. My project was very simple and straight to the point so anybody of any age could understand it. I would rate myself a 4 or 5 because when i was working i kept in mind all of the guides to each of the Criterions.

5. I would of plan out everything earlier and executed everything earlier instead of doing everything the last minute. I procrastinated so I did everything the last second so I didn't really plan anything. I would of tried to be more specific in my planning and in my execution.

3. How will this project serve my community? This project will serve my community because by teaching other people about the Design Cycle will make them more productive and eventually help everybody.
4. How can my learning help my community? My learning can help my community because one day if I create something following the Design Cycle, it could potentially make one’s life easier or improved.

REFLECT ON YOUR LEARNING
Day 2
9. Spend one day experimenting with DESIGN CYCLE your presentation. List five things your learned about the Design Cycle: The design cylce is very imprtant to use in school and life, the design cycle is very good to use and keep items in order, the design cylce will help you make the best product possible if followed correctly, in order to make use the design cycle is actually useful, you have to set deadlines for yourself, and that the design cycle takes time and each step is important and requires time.

11. What are the requirements for this assignment?

PLAN:
14. Brainstorm ideas. Use the chart below
IB Brainstorming Chart .pdf found in schoology under “materials”& then files
15. What idea did you choose to demonstrate the design cycle and why did you choose it?
16. Does your idea meet all of the requirements?
17. Use the story board paper below to plan your presentation.  Include how many levels you will have, what will be on each level, how will you include teaching skills to young students, and what will your questions be about.
